PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

Through the Community of Practice, the TCU Center of Excellence on Native Languages will facilitate a community of Indigenous language education and preservation practice workshops for TCU Native language faculty and staff to share best practices, needs, and resources.
These sessions will be held virtually and run throughout the 2023-24 academic year. Sessions are currently being planned. Schedule and registration information will be available soon. Session topics of highest interest/need are (based on TCU survey feedback): curriculum and curriculum development, assessment, faculty professional development, and resource development skills.
